Okay, I'm more than a little biased about this. My nephew, Marcus Sikora wrote this book, but even if he hadn't, I'd still urge you to add it to your library. "Black Day, The Monster Rock Band" is a perfect children's book for Halloween. The book is fantastically illustrated with classic monsters in such a way that it won't be scary for young children.
This book also has message about inclusion and befriending those who are different than you. This is especially significant when you realize that the author, my nephew, has Down syndrome.. But this book isn't his only accomplishment. Not by a long shot.
Marcus is currently an International Ambassador for the Down syndrome community, having spoken across the United States as well as in Ireland. He's appeared onstage in a touring Broadway musical. He's spoken at the United Nations. He's done book signings. I could go on and on about his accomplishments, but I think the best thing about him is he's just a nice guy.
Check out his book, and then put it in your library so others can check it out, too. https://mardrasikora.com/black-day/
