It seems like March is the month for booking libraries! I've been getting calls and e-mails from one or two libraries each week for the last couple of months, but it seems like March is the month when everything explodes! It's not unusual for me to get contacted by two or three libraries per day during this month.
But you libraries aren't the only ones making my phone ring. During the summer I also perform at a lot of child care facilities, Summer School Programs, fairs, festivals and neighborhood events. This is why I always encourage libraries to reserve my show as early as possible. I really hate to tell a library that I can't perform on the date they want.
