And So It Begins...

Hello Library Friends! I hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are keeping warm. You know the holidays are here when you see the red kettles, candy canes and...postcards from me in your library mailbox.

Each year I mail off over 1,000 postcards to libraries in Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota and Kansas. With postage at 61 cents per card PLUS the price of printing the cards, you can see that it's certainly an investment. Still, I think it's worth it to send you a physical reminder of my show. Yes, it would be much cheaper to just send you an email, but emails tend to be forgotten and lost. I hope you'll keep my post card in a file or somewhere on your desk where you can easily find it.

Responses to the postcards are starting to trickle in. Soon that trickle will turn into a steady flow...and then into a flood. The flood usually comes in mid-January. Unfortunately, by that time, many dates will already be filled. As of this writing, I already have 33 library shows booked and I expect to add several each week in the coming months.

So, if you haven't booked your date yet, I'd recommend getting in touch with me soon to get the best choice of dates.
