I never forget how incredibly fortunate I am to be able to make a living as a performer. I've been truly blessed. I was brought up to believe that it's right to give back to those who are less fortunate, and that's what I did today. I was on a tour that took me through Central Nebraska and Western South Dakota. On my way back, I made arrangements to stop at Wolf Creek Elementary on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and do a free show for their 500 students. Pine Ridge is one of the poorest places in North American and faces a lot of hardships. It was an honor to be able to bring an hour of laughter and smiles to the students. I didn't get a paycheck, but I sure do feel richer.
