It's a new year and I'm starting it with my first ever attempt at blogging. If you're an expert blogger (bloggist?) please forgive me for the several mistakes I'm sure I'm going to make.
My main purpose for this blog is to keep my library friends updated on what's going on in my little corner of the world and to let you know what you can expect from my Summer Reading Program library show this year.
The "Fizz, Boom, Read!" theme has been a lot of fun to work with. In fact, it's been TOO MUCH FUN. I have more material and ideas than I can possibly use in my show. In the next 5 months I'm sure I'm going to come up with even more tricks and ideas. But this is a good thing because it raises the quality of the show I can do for you.
My Summer Reading Program schedule is starting to get filled in. As of the beginning of the new year, I have 29 shows booked at 19 different libraries in Nebraska and Iowa. Don't let those numbers scare you off, I still have plenty of open dates.
