I love to travel. Luckily for me, my job as a magician gives me plenty of opportunities to get out on the road. Later this year I will be in Des Moines, Iowa; Tucson, Arizona; Washington, DC and St. Louis, Missouri.
But being an Omaha magician gives me a chance to see a lot of the Midwest, too. My Summer Reading Program schedule is going to take me all over Eastern Nebraska and into both West and Northern Iowa. Last year, I also performed for libraries in North Dakota.
In my travels, I've seen some wonderful and terrifying things. I've seen tornadoes and tornado damage; I've seen flooding and other natural disasters. But I've also seen some incredible things. I enjoy taking in roadside attractions when I can. I've seen huge balls of twine, white buffalo, skillfully painted rocks and long-forgotten historical monuments. It's all a wonderful education for me and one of the wonderful benefits of my job.
So if you're a library that's some distance away from Omaha and you decide to hire me, don't be surprised if you get reports that I've been seen at your local museum or other area attraction.
And if you have a giant ball of string...you can count on me being there.
